There was a time when good grades meant everything. It was enough to get you into college or university, enough to get you a good job. However good grades alone do not mean your life is set for great success. It is important to appreciate the contribution of the skill set a learner can obtain from a being a part of a club at school. Clubs can offer important life skills that a learner can use for the rest of his or her life. The school is initiating numerous activities to encourage and ensure that holistic growth is done for the students. To facilitate this we have commenced with the following clubs mentioned below. Music and Dance is compulsory for all the students.
This club will ensure that the child is brought in contact with culture and there will be familiarization with archaeological sites. It will bring the child close to growth of civilization.
There will be reading, writing, creating articles for the school magazine. The creativity will come to fore with enhancement in reading and writing skill.
Every child has got a hidden artist. We would like him/her to Hone his/her acting skill with inclusion in this club.
Environment and its care is a burning topic and we need the students to carry the torch forward. With this club we will ensure that children become more environment friendly and are ready to initiate programs like save tiger, save girl child, ban plastic etc
The world is a Canvas and we the painter. Encourage your child to join the club and explore their intrinsic creativity.
Participating in club activities helps improve communication skills which can be important to your career. It is encouraged for those aspiring to be lawyers to join the debating club, it helps build on the important communication skills for such a career.
As mentioned above, so many concentrate on academics and fail to deliver when they are now lawyers. The straight ‘A’s and distinctions can hardly beat eloquence and a well presented argument.
No matter how many facts you have if you cannot present them eloquently you can lose the case. Clubs help develop writing skills, negotiating skills and other non-verbal communication skills.Thankyou
